Survey Measuring Educators’ Uses of Web 2.0 Tools for Professional Growth
Social Networks, Teacher CPD, Naace2007, Dissertation 2665 viewsI was listening to a podcast from EdTechTalk today (whilst walking the dog - it's my best professional development opportunity!)
The Women of the Web team were getting set to interview Terry Freedman about his new edition of Coming of Age. During the introductions Sharon Peters mentioned that she was doing a presentation (at the Illinois Online Conference) on tapping into online social networks for professional growth.
As part of the presentation, Sharon has prepared a short survey to explore the current use of web2.0-type tools for professional growth. It's very easy to do, and should provide some useful data - which may even persuade those in positions of power that there is value in encouraging online social networking.
