WOW - I love items like this that shift your perspective on a common view - ... I will be reviewing telephone policy at BrainPOP UK immediately! LOL!

Seriously, this does draw attention to the mistaken belief that Web 2.0 is fundamentally 'free' and 'open'!

It can be used as a form of monitoring and control - and is!

In many ways, the freedom of a phonecall is often missed... Skype calls even more so (with the added value of body language!).

I far prefer calls to forum threads or emails...

Web 2.0 out in the wild is pretty much free & open. But the same technologies can be used inside closed organisations in a much more controlled way.
