It's interesting to see how teachers are employing technology in the classroom.

Since we're involved in workplace learning for adults, the people we "teach" will have been influenced by the approaches they encountered during their years at school.

I reckon a major contributor to the apathy we encounter on the part of our audience when it comes to learner-driven, technology enhanced learning is that they're programmed to expect the model they remember from their school days.

    Mark,

Wow, thanks for the feedback. Eylan has been awesome for opening our eyes to some of the possibilities a platform like this will give not just us, but lots of other educational folks too.

I think (and don't quote me on this) one of our guys is all up for contributing some hard cash to your pizza extravaganza at Teachmeet just to get the opportunity to sit with you and pick your brains.

We'll be at BETT on stand N30 (a small but perfectly formed concession on the upper gallery) and you are more than welcome to come along and meet some of the team. There will be jelly beans.

    Hi Mark,

Looking forward to meeting new people too! You'll have to come and introduce yourself as I'll probably be overwhelmed by it all (it's my first time...)
speaking with Futurelab (11.45am) on Saturday, but I'll be around from midday on Friday until Pizza Express with the TeachMeet08 crew! :-)

Hi Mark, I've just arrived with my friends and colleagues James and Stéphane to take over from Chris Bradford et al. If you are at the exhibition during the day tomorrow, it would be good to say hello before TeachMeet.

    Cheers!

    Ed
